AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A “Defense of Wilayat Conference” will be held in the holy city of Qom to mark the 47th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, bringing together representatives of major religious organizations, seminaries, and institutions from across the region.
According to the organizers, the conference aims to renew allegiance to the Supreme Leader and will be held at the city level with broad participation from national and religious bodies. The event is scheduled for February 10, at 7:00 p.m., at Madrasah Momineya, located on Khayaban-e Shohada-e Barqi in Qom.
Prominent religious scholars Maulana Murad Raza Rizvi and Maulana Nusrat Abbas Bukhari will address the gathering. The program will also include collective chants of Takbir and the presentation of a joint declaration.
The conference is being organized with the participation of Urdu-speaking students of the Qom Seminary, along with a wide range of religious and socio-political organizations. These include Tehreek-e-Jafaria Qom, Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Qom, Tehreek-e-Bedari Ummat-e-Mustafa Qom, Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind Qom, and religious councils from Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan.
Several educational and charitable institutions are also involved, including Al-Sadiq Foundation, Shajra-e-Tayyaba Institute, Baqiyatullah Islamic Institute, Safeeran-e-Hidayat (Shuhada-e-Parachinar), and seminaries such as Al-Wilayah, Ba’that, Thaqalain, Imam Ali, Jamia Al-Muntazar, and Momineya. Other participating groups include Nahj-ul-Wilayah, Ahd-e-Wilayat, Qaimoon, Markaz Sibghatullah, and Idara Afkar-e-Shuhada.
Organizers say the conference is intended to highlight unity, ideological commitment, and continued support for the principles of the Islamic Revolution at an international level.
